The largest city and capital of Gran Canaria. See the oldest, historic part of town: beautiful monuments of Vegueta and famous commercial street Triana, take a walk along the longest beach Playa de Las Canteras, enjoy the greenery and calm of Parque Doramas and magnificent atmosphere during the annual carnival in Parque Santa Catalina.
Necessarily see the beautiful canarian garden Jardín Canario, look into the deepest crater Caldera de Bandama and taste the best wine "Del Monte" from Bodega de San Juan

City famous for producing the best rum "Arehucas". Try the delicious liqueurs during tasting at Rum Factory, look inside the church of Iglesia de San Juan Bautista which towers over the city, find a Goblin in Parque Municipal, see the magnificent panoramic view of northern Gran Canaria from the top of Montaña de Arucas, and on your way back watch the amazing collection of tropical plants in Jardín de la Marquesa and fascinating Fobos - "the wind toy" located on one of the roundabouts.
Necessarily go to Firgas - the city of mineral water, look into pre-Hispanic caves in Moya, take a walk across the greenest place on the island - Valleseco and don't miss Teror - the town famous for beautiful canarian balconies.

The historic town, city of Kings. See the remains of old days at Plaza de Santiago, go to La Guancha and El Agujero to learn about methods the oldest inhabitants of the island used to construct their houses and about their burial customs, take a look at Guanches coloured paintings in Cueva Pintada - the only one on whole the archipelago.
Necessarily look into the cave chambers in Cenobio de Valerón, see the crosses engraved in the walls of Cueva de Las Cruces, taste the famous cheese in Santa María de Guía, and in the end go to picturesque Agaete

The picturesque town on the north-west of Gran Canaria. Take a walk across the narrow streets, among the atmospheric white houses, see the magnificent historic churches, in particular Ermita de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves and the XVIth-century triptych of Flemish artist Joos von Cleve stored there, go to Puerto de las Nieves to see what happened to El Dedo de Dios - the symbol of the town.
Necessarily go to Gáldar and Santa María de Guía, see the cave of Cueva de Las Cruces, visit San Nicolás de Tolentino and see how the "real west" of Gran Canaria looks like, and for the end take a little trip to the largest on the island pine forest Pinar de Tamadaba

Center of Gran Canary Island

Santa Lucia de TirajanaSanta Lucía de Tirajana

The picturesque village situated in the mountain parts of Gran Canaria, on the altitude about 680 metres above sea level. See the towering over the town church of Iglesia de Santa Lucía, learn the history and tradition of Aborigenes during the tour to Museo Castillo de la Fortaleza.
Necessarily look into the Barranco de Tirajana ravine to see the legendary mountain of Ansite and the water reservoir at the dam of Presa de la Sorrueda surrounded by beautiful palm grove. Also take a look to the depths of the valley from Mirador el Guriete. Going in the direction to the center of the island don't miss charming villages of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Ayacata, reach the highest summit on Gran Canaria - Pico de las Nieves, see the famous rocky monolith - Roque Nublo and neighbouring Roque Fraile and La Rana. On the end of your trip take a ride to the south, by a winding, mountain road and visit the enchanting village of Fataga.

The highest village on Gran Canaria. See the Casas Cuevas - cave houses still inhabited by local residents, the grooved in rock small chapel of Virgen de la Cuevita, the pleasant church Iglesia de San Matias, watch the excellent views from Mirador de Unamuno, and take one of great mountain routes.
Necessarily go to Roque Bentayga - the rock formation in the exact center of island, see best preserved forest area of Tamadaba and Tirma, look at the crater Caldera Pinos de Galdar and visit the neighbouring towns: Tejeda and Cruz de Tejeda

Southern Gran Canaria

Along with Playa del Inglés is the most well-known tourist resort on Gran Canaria. After all-night fun it's nice to take advantage of the sun on one of beaches, see the wonderful dunes reserve Dunas de Maspalomas and a lighthouse Faro de Maspalomas, and drink a cup of coffee in one of cafes in Las Meloneras.
Necessarily take a walk through the sea promenade Paseo Marítimo toward San Agustin and see the delightful Moorish houses in Bahia Felíz

Puerto RicoPuerto Rico

One of the most popular holiday resort on the island. Try the perfect weather on the beach, take one of many organized sea trips, take a walk through the promenade toward beautiful Playa de los Amadores. Apart from that, see also the neighbouring resorts and their beaches: Playa del Cura, Tauro and Taurito.
